Surviving Bullies Missions

Mission One:  The Incident Report

The goal of this mission is to clear the fog and get the facts about the kind of bullying you have been enduring.

The skill that you will develop is the ability to take control.

Mission Two:  Demystify your Bullies

The goal of this mission is to stop bullies from appearing 15 feet tall.  They may seem stronger or cooler or more powerful, but actually they have the same fears and insecurities as the rest of us (sometimes even more).

The skill you will develop is the ability to confront your fear and take control of it.

Mission Three:  The Isolation Trap

The goal of this mission is to unmask (and confront) the true power of the Isolation Trap.  Eventually, after enough bullying, we often start to believe that the bullies are right.  This is when we begin to pick on ourselves.  This mission will help you understand the Isolation Trap and either climb out of it, or avoid sinking into it.

The skill you will develop is the ability to manage your emotions.

Mission Four:  The Bully Antidote

The goal of this mission is to develop anti-bullying skills.  It will help you analyze everything from your appearance to your knowledge of teen topics to your body language, and help you figure out ways to fit in with the crowd.

The skill you will develop is the ability to take action.

Mission Five:  Make Friends and Allies

The goal of this mission is to build social defenses against being bullied.  It’s easier and safer for bullies to target people who are alone.  If you build up your social network by expanding the number of friendly acquaintances that you have, the bullies are more likely to leave you alone.

The skill you will develop is the ability to secure social support.
